Ingredients

Canine One is formulated based on thorough research of a dog’s dietary needs.   Each ingredient used has been well researched and established to be both safe and effective.

Blended into exact amounts, these important ingredients form to combine the perfect food supplement a dog can receive.

Liver Meal, Flax Seed, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, Hesperidin (Citrus Pectin), Calcium Proteinate, L-Lysine, Dicalcium Phosphate, Vitamin E (Alpha-Tocopherol), DL-Methionine, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid),Zinc Proteinate, Magnesium Proteinate, Potassium Proteinate, Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin B1 (Thiamin Mononitrate), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride).

Poultry Liver Meal:

  • Not only adds a great flavor that dogs love; but also provides protein and fatty acids.

Ground Flax Seed:

  • Flax is known to be a powerful agent for treating fatty degeneration in cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other diseases. Flax provides the essential Omega 3 Fatty Acid, alpha-linolenic acid and vitamins B1, B2, C and E. 
  • Flax has a high amount of fiber, which is important for colon health and aids in lowering cholesterol. 
  • Flax is a great source of Lignans, which have anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-cancer properties. 

Alfalfa Meal: 

  • A good addition to the ultimate diet; Alfalfa has an antibiotic action against bacteria, and also anti-tumor activity. 
  • Alfalfa is a good source of an extensive amount of nutrients including:  Calcium, Phosphorous, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Iron, Biotin, and Folic Acid, fiber, Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, D, E, K, and U.

Kelp:

  • Kelp is an excellent source of trace minerals.  It is known for it’s anti-cancer, anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory properties. 
  • Kelp can also be very good for the glands and organs, aid in the protection against hair loss, obesity, arthritis, heart and circulatory diseases and mineral deficiencies. 
  • Kelp supplies a wide range of nutrients including:  Zinc, calcium, potassium biotin, copper, selenium, fiber Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C and E. 

Hesperidin (Citrus Pectin):

  • Hesperidin is a source of Bioflavonoids.  Bioflavonoids are a crystalline compound found in fruits and often are not present in a dog’s diet. Bioflavoniods work with antioxidants and help enhance the immune system.
  • Bioflavonoids both aid in the absorption of vitamin C and prevent it from being destroyed by oxidation.
  • Bioflavonoids are known to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, stimulate bile production to aid with digestion, help lower cholesterol levels, treat and prevent cataracts.

Calcium Proteinate:

  • Calcium is the major structural element in bones and teeth.  Bones are a dynamic tissue that is consistently rebuilding itself; old bones are absorbed and new bones formed.
  • Calcium also aids in nerve impulses, muscle contraction, and secretion of hormones such as insulin.
  • Allows optimal activity for a number of proteins and enzymes.

L-Lysine:

  • An essential amino acid, L-Lysine is important for proper growth as it can help strengthen the skeletal, circulatory and immune systems.
  • Can combat viral infections, which cause discharges from the nose and eyes. 
  • Aids in the absorption of calcium and helps form collagen, which makes up the bone and cartilage connective tissue. 
  • Helps prevent hip and elbow dysplacia.

Dicalcuim Phosphate

  • Not only builds and strengthens bones and teeth, it also maintains normal heartbeat, regulates blood pressure and healthy functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin E (Alpha-Tocopherol)

  • A fat-soluble vitamin that acts as a powerful biological antioxidant. 
  • Protects cells against free radical damage
  • Enhances the immune system and may help prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer. 

DL-Methionine

  • An essential amino acid known to help reduce liver fat and lower cholesterol levels.
  • Protects the kidneys and supports in the removal of toxic heavy metals from the systems.
  • Protects the bladder by regulating ammonia production in the urine.  Can create ammonia-free urine, preventing a strong odor.
  • Encompasses a tissue cleaning quality that can prevent disorders of the skin, hair and nails. 

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

  • Highly effective antioxidant that can help slow aging by protecting indispensable molecules in the body such as proteins, lipids, DNA and RNA from free radical damage. May help prevent allergies and some forms of cancer.
  • Increases calcium and absorption and promotes bone growth and  tissue repair.  May reduce symptoms of arthritis.
  • Promotes healthy capillaries and contributes to red blood cell production in bone marrow.  May provide protection against heart disease, reduce cholesterol and prevent blood clotting.  

Zinc Proteinate:

  • An essential mineral that stimulates activities of approximately 100 enzymes.
  • Zinc is very important mineral in determining the appearance of the hair coat.  One of the first signs of a zinc deficiency in the diet is dry flaky skin and deterioration of the hair coat.   
  • Important for normal growth and supports in wound healing.

Magnesium Proteinate

  • Considered the “anti-stress” mineral, Magnesium can help nervous dogs and hypertension.
  • An important mineral that can help improve stamina, endurance, vitality and energy levels.
  • Involved in hundreds of enzymatic reactions required for cardiovascular function and the conversion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats into energy.
  • Benefits the muscles and nerves by aiding nerve transmissions and the removal of excess toxic substances from the body. 

Potassium Proteinate

  • Important for proper function of the nerves and muscles.  Potassium stimulates nerve impulses for muscle contraction.
  • Helps regulate fluid levels maintain electrolyte balance in body cells.
  • Aids in keeping skin healthy and stimulates the kidneys to eliminate wastes.
  • Deficiencies may cause nervousness, constipation, slow and irregular heart beat, general weakness, bone fragility and poor reflexes.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin)

  • Like all B-complex vitamins, it is important for converting fat and carbohydrates into energy and also calories from protein.
  • Assists in the formation of red blood cells
  • Helps the digestive system and promotes a normal appetite.   

Vitamin B1 (Thiamin)

  • Main job is to convert carbohydrates from food into energy the body can use. 
  • Helps the brain and nervous system absorb enough glucose.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride)

  • Supports the immune system. Plays an important role in the formation and health of red blood cells, blood vessels, and nerve communication. 
  • Plays a role in regulating blood pressure.
  • Converts amino acids into protein and stored sugar into energy.
